Ever since Louis Daguerre shot the first photograph of a living person on Boulevard du Temple in 1838, you could easily make the argument that Paris, more than any place on this planet, is a photographer’s city. It’s that particular combination of light and architecture and joie de vivre that launched a billion bad cliches but still, inevitably, delivers. So it’s no surprise that in our quest for the perfect Paris fixer we’d turn to Evan Sung, one of the preeminent food and travel photographers of our time.
