Ever since Louis Daguerre shot the first photograph of a living person on Boulevard du Temple in 1838, you could easily make the argument that Paris, more than any place on this planet, is a photographer’s city. It’s that particular combination of light and architecture and joie de vivre that launched a billion bad cliches but still, inevitably, delivers.
