WHAT TO SEE: Miradouro São Pedro de Alcantara
Lisbon is a city of wonderful views and viewpoints from which to gaze at them; you don’t really have to do anything else while you’re here. This one’s right in the center of town, big enough to accommodate the crowds, and has a view across to the castle and hilly neighbourhoods to the east as well as to the river and the 25 April suspension bridge.
