Description

Presented by Roads & Kingdoms, The Anti-ICE Supper Club is a series of fundraising dinners in support of local organizations defending communities under attack—our small but vital contribution to the fight for immigrant America.

New Orleans is a city that has always known that the party is inseparable from the struggle. At a time when ICE Detention Centers in Louisiana are disappearing immigrants from around the country, we are honored to partner with the NOLA hospitality community to raise funds for an organization providing crucial legal services and representation to those being detained without due process. Our first night in town takes place at Patron Saint, a lower Garden District wine bar that’s quickly become a beloved neighborhood institution. Join us for wines from California, their classic selection of aperitivo snacks—including St. Pizza focaccia, olives, almonds, cheese, tinned fish, and charcuterie—and tarot readings from their in-house reader Biba Isla.

When: Monday, October 26, 2026. 6:00-9:00 pm

Where: Patron Saint: 1152 Magazine St Ste 101, New Orleans, LA 70130

Tickets: $95 per person; includes two glasses of wine and aperitivo snacks. Cash bar to follow. Tarot readings can be paid with cash or Venmo.

Net proceeds benefit Immigration Services and Legal Advocacy (ISLA), which offers free legal services under a universal representation model to detained immigrants across Louisiana. Detention centers are located throughout rural areas in Louisiana; the closest is three hours from New Orleans. Your support helps ensure that financial barriers and geographic distance do not prevent immigrants from accessing legal services and pursuing immigration relief. If you cannot attend, but would like to support, please donate here.

“Wine, at its heart, is agricultural, and there is no wine industry in America without immigrant ingenuity and labor.”

— Leslie Pariseau, Patron Saint

Patron Saint is a neighborhood wine shop and bar in New Orleans’ Lower Garden District. It focuses on wines from small producers, ranging from classic to experimental styles. The by-the-glass list and retail shelves change weekly, and the staff tastes dozens of new wines in the process of selecting them. The shop also carries small-production spirits, beer, and grocery items, including tinned fish, chocolate, cheese, and caviar.

Leslie Pariseau created Patron Saint and owns it with her husband Tony Biancosino alongside their sibling restaurant & neighbor St. Pizza. Leslie is a writer, editor, and three-time James Beard nominee. She co-founded PUNCH, has written several books, and holds an MFA in fiction. Tony is a TV and documentary producer and director, and pizza maker. He owns and run the creative production studio Animals & Co. Together they have a daughter Olympia, who runs around their block of Magazine Street like she owns the joint.

Nathan Thornburgh co-founded Roads & Kingdoms in 2012 and ran the independent media company with Anthony Bourdain and co-founders Matt Goulding and Doug Hughmanick for years, winning numerous awards, including a Primetime Emmy and a National Magazine Award. In recent years, R&K launched the League of Travelers, offering small-group culinary journeys, and R&K Insiders, a membership program that includes a new print magazine and digital editorial. The Anti-ICE Supper Club is the successor to the Banned Countries Dinners they launched in 2017 with Anthony Bourdain and chefs from the Somali, Persian, and Syrian diasporas.
