Description
Presented by Roads & Kingdoms, the Anti-ICE Supper Club is a series of fundraising dinners in support of local organizations defending communities under attack—our small but vital contribution to the fight for immigrant America.
Night two in Kansas City takes place at the James Beard Award-winning Yoli Tortilleria, founded in 2017 by Marissa and Mark Gencarelli to recreate the authentic tortillas Marissa remembered from her childhood in Sonora, Mexico. There, we’ll be throwing an asada patio party featuring some of the city’s most talented chefs and bartenders, including Diana Condori (Condors Cove, Bar Ojo); Tania and Nick Mader (Alma Mader Brewing); Johnny and Helen Jo Leach (The Town Co, Dear Donna); Jeff Workman (Workman’s); Fernanda Reyes (Taco Naco); Robyn Krause (Billie’s Grocery; Casa Ama), and Marissa Gencarelli (Yoli Tortilleria, Art’s Molino & Market). We’ll have DJ Mari on the decks all night.
When: Tuesday, October 13, 2026 6:30-9:30 pm
Where: Yoli Cocina, 3125 Bell St., Kansas City, Mo.
Tickets: $95, with small bites from each chef + one drink. Cash bar to follow.
Net proceeds benefit: Advocates for Immigrant Rights and Reconciliation (AIRR), a local organization led by immigrants or children of immigrants, and for immigrants. They recognize and are working tirelessly to keep families together and end the humanitarian crisis our immigrant community is facing. AIRR believes that all people, no matter where they were born, deserve a chance at a safe and dignified life, and is committed to empowering and uplifting the voices of our immigrant community and providing them with the tools they need to better protect themselves and their families. AIRR organizes and activates immigrants in Kansas and Missouri to advocate for their rights and well-being. If you cannot attend, but would like to support, please donate here.
