Dmitry Ermakov
is a photographer based in St. Petersburg. Educated as an aviation engineer in Moscow, he worked as a print journalist for a decade before shifting to photography. He freelances for BBC Russia, Russia Beyond, Kommersant, Greenpeace, Rosatom, Moscow Government and others. His work explores the themes of ancient and modern myths in Russian communities, as well as social and political issues.
