Description

Presented by Roads & Kingdoms, The Anti-ICE Supper Club is a series of fundraising dinners in support of local organizations defending communities under attack—our small but vital contribution to the fight for immigrant America.

Join us in Denver for a night of great food, drinks, and fundraising at Molino Chido, where chef-owners Tommy Lee and Michael Diaz de Leon bring together their shared love of Mexico City street food and the craft of nixtamal. Expect delicious drinks, family-style passed food (think tuna tostadas, sopes, tacos), and a DJ—or as we’ve come to call it: a very good time for a very good cause.

When: Monday, June 15th, 2026,  6:30-9:30 pm

Where: Molino Chido: 2501 Dallas St Unit 140, Aurora, CO 80010 (Stanley Marketplace)

Tickets: $95 per person; entertainment, passed apps + 1 drink. Cash bar available all night. Cocktails sponsored by Condesa Gin.

Net proceeds benefit: Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition, a statewide membership-based organization that advocates for all immigrants in Colorado and the United States, regardless of legal status. CIRC’s mission is to build community power through organizing and leadership development within immigrant communities, winning fair and humane public policies, providing legal services and educational workshops, and implementing nonpartisan civic engagement programs. “Advocacy for community and Latinos has always been important to us. It’s our immediate community, our neighbors, and our staff.”

— Michael Diaz de Leon, Molino Chido

Molino Chido was born from two worlds—de aquí y de allá. It’s a celebration of craft, culture, and community. Co-owners Tommy Lee and Michael Diaz de Leon bring together their shared love of Mexico City street food and the craft of nixtamal. Every tortilla starts with corn they grind themselves. Every dish reflects where they’ve cooked and whom they cook for.

Michael Diaz de Leon is a first-generation Mexican American chef and the cofounder of Molino Chido. Born on the Mexican border in El Paso, Texas, Michael spent his formative years navigating two cultures at once, developing an early affinity for community, connection, and storytelling through food. His latest project, created in partnership with Chef Tommy Lee, honors the humble taco through daily nixtamal made with heirloom corn grown by the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, celebrating Colorado’s local agriculture through a vibrant, heritage-driven lens.

Tommy Lee is a Denver-born chef, restaurateur, and the cofounder of Molino Chido. After building a reputation in Colorado with his acclaimed restaurants Uncle and Hop Alley, his latest project brings a sharp, intentional approach to heritage-inspired cuisine. In partnership with Michael Diaz de Leon, Tommy combines his extensive hospitality background with a focus on local agriculture and vibrant street culture. A central figure in the region’s food scene, he was named a James Beard Award Semifinalist for Outstanding Restaurateur.

Charly Wilder is the executive editor of the award-winning travel and media company Roads & Kingdoms, the former publishing partner of Anthony Bourdain. The Anti-ICE Supper Club is the successor to the Banned Countries Dinners they launched in 2017 with Anthony Bourdain and chefs from the Somali, Persian, and Syrian diasporas. Before joining Roads & Kingdoms, Wilder was a longtime contributor to The New York Times, reporting on travel and culture from Russia, Mexico, Central Asia, and across Europe.
